Altelix 14x12x8 Stealth Black Fiberglass Weatherproof Vented NEMA Enclosure with 12 VDC Cooling Fan

The Altelix NF141208BVFD1 Stealth Black Vented Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure with 12VDC Cooling Fan and Aluminum Equipment Mounting Plate is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. This rugged NEMA box is molded from durable and UV resistant black fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. It features a gasketed door with stainless steel continuous hinge and stainless steel latches with provision for padlocks. It is suitable for use indoors or outdoors.

This JIC style enclosure is dent-proof, corrosion resistant and UV stable. The FRP material is non-conductive and RF transparent. It is suitable for use in the harshest outdoor environments. It can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.

Black Enclosure
The black color of the this enclosure makes it ideal for deploying surveillance and security equipment as well as building automation control equipment which typically requires low visibility.

Aluminum Equipment Plate & Power Connections
This model features an aluminum equipment mounting plate. A terminal strip and ground lug are provided for simplified wiring on-site. The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.

Cooling Fan Ventilation
The NF141208BVFD1 features dual 4" vents and a thermostat controlled 12VDC cooling fan. The low noise, high airflow fan helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The fan turns on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure, and the screens are removable for cleaning. A dual fan option is also available.

Mounting
Four removable stainless steel mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure. Two optional flange and pole mounting kits are available, painted steel (model NMKS-300-08) and stainless steel (model NMKX-300-08).

Optional SLA Battery Shelf
The NHP-SLA-01 is an aluminum shelf designed for use with SLA type batteries. The shelf can be easily installed via (4) pre-tapped holes provided on the equipment mounting plate. The included strap secures the battery firmly on the shelf.
