The Altelix NFC403214 Series NEMA 4X Fiberglass Weatherproof Enclosures are designed to protect large and complex equipment installations in harsh indoor and outdoor environments. Built from rugged fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) and featuring a fully gasketed, lockable door, this enclosure provides superior protection from moisture, dust, corrosion, and tampering.

Construction and Features
This rugged NEMA 4X rated enclosure is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP). The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The lockable door features reinforced hinges and three quarter-turn latches to secure the enclosure and is locked and unlocked using the included removable keys. A drip rail over the door provides additional protection against water dripping into the cabinet while the enclosure is open.

Integral T-Slot Nut Mounting System
Molded into the interior of the enclosure is a versatile mounting system that can be used to mount different size and types of equipment mounting plates as well as DIN rails without modifying the enclosure. Designed for use with T-Slot Nuts, they run the full length of the enclosure from top to bottom. This mounting system provides the flexibility needed when configuring the enclosure for specific user requirements. For recommended T-Slot Nut size, see specification sheet in the Downloads section.

Available Configurations
This enclosure is available in multiple configurations to meet a wide range of installation requirements. Choose from an empty enclosure, a model with a blank galvanized steel equipment mounting plate for custom equipment layouts, or a version equipped with three 35mm Top Hat DIN rails for easy mounting of industrial control components and DIN rail devices.

Optional Lockable Latches
For additional protection of internal equipment installed, three lockable latches are available. The HN-0005 is a keyed lock set which includes two keys. Similar to the HN-0005, the HN-0001 has an interlock feature that traps the key when it is in the unlocked position. The HN-0006 allows the enclosure to be securely locked via use of a padlock (not included). All of these optional lockable latches are direct replacements for the standard quarter-turn latches that come pre-installed in the enclosures.
