The Altelix NP171407VFA1C-DF NEMA enclosure is simple to install because no wiring is required. Simply mount the enclosure and plug the pre-wired 5 foot power cord into a nearby outlet. This enclosure features four (4) pre-wired 120VAC power outlets for powering your equipment.

Get your project up and running quickly and transition to hard-wired later if needed. The power cord can removed and the power receptacle can be hard-wired by a qualified installer.

Cooling Fan with Programmable Digital Temperature Controller
This enclosure features two 3" vents and a cooling fan which helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The operation of the cooling fan can be controlled by the programmable digital temperature controller accessible inside the enclosure. The fan can be programmed to turn on and off within a set temperature range set by the user. The controller features a color digital readout and can be programmed for Fahrenheit or Celsius. Rain shrouds keep rain water from entering the enclosure while allowing ventilation for installed equipment. The fan is wired internally, leaving the power outlets available for installed equipment.

Equipment Mounting Options
This enclosure provides multiple ways to install equipment. Raised bosses located in the base of this enclosure can be used to mount an equipment plate. These same bosses can also be used to install up to four 35mm Top Hat DIN Rail kits available from Altelix. A large flat section is also provided in the base for use with the hook-n-loop tape included in the accessory kit.

Note: this enclosure is also available with an aluminum equipment mounting plate (see NP171407VPFA1C-DF) or a non-metallic PVC equipment mounting plate (see NP171407VMFA1C-DF).

RF Transparent Design
The NP171407VFA1C-DF is ideal for WiFi applications. The non-metallic design of the enclosure will not interfere with the radio's operation. The size of this enclosure will fit a wide range of popular wireless access points on the market.

Secure Your Equipment
These NP series enclosures feature a gasketed lid with dual stainless steel quick release latches. A stainless steel security screw with keys and a provision for a padlock are also provided.

Polycarbonate + ABS Protection Built to Last
This enclosure is molded out of UV resistant Polycarbonate + ABS, an industrial grade plastic with greater strength and durability than standard ABS. This enclosure can be easily drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.

Complete with Cable Grommets and Wire Management Accessories
This enclosure includes an assortment of cable grommets and cable glands that can be installed in the knock-out holes for a weather resistant seal. Also included in the accessory kit are wall anchors, zip ties, wire management loops, hook-n-loop tape, ground wire, (2) door locking keys and more.

Multiple Mounting Options
This enclosure features (4) external mounting feet which can be used for wall mounting or with our optional pole mounting kit. Mounting points are also provided inside the enclosure. These can be easily drilled out and used for applications requiring a more secure installation.
